What motivates people to conserve their land for the common good—forever?

This 10-minute film conveys the personal experiences of three people who protected their land for the common good—why they did it, the obstacles they faced, and the emotional impact of their legacy gifts on the donors and their families.

The three donors interviewed include: Tom Jarvela, Leigh Hudson with her adult son Christopher Zins, and Harley Holden.

We also hear from Nashua River advocate and land donor herself, Marion Stoddart. Stoddart, heralded as an environmental hero for her work in restoring the polluted Nashua of the 60s—relays her vision for a greenway along the Nashua and its tributaries.
